Byung-Hoon Kim is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Systems Informatics at Yonsei University College of Medicine, jointly affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry. He received his MD from Yonsei University, where he also completed his residency training in Psychiatry, and his PhD in Bio and Brain Engineering from KAIST, advised by Prof. Jong Chul Ye. His research focuses on developing AI methods for neuroimaging and psychiatry, including representation learning of neuroimage-physiology data and large multimodal models for psychiatry.
Byung-Hoon is also leading a team of AI Researchers and Engineers at EverEx along with Hyungjin Chung, with a focus on realizing human motion-centric video understanding and generation for healthcare applications, and beyond.
